My family and friends have been enjoying CA Avocados Direct for many years. The farm is local and the avocados are excellent - picked and then shipped, rather than sitting in nitrogen coolers. One of the best features is that different varieties are available throughout the year. Our friends, out of state, marvel at Gem, Reed, Carmen, etc. - varieties that they would never see otherwise. This is a very fine farm and I am a loyal customer.

I've purchased several orders of avocados such as Hass, Fuerte, Reed and Nabal. Shipping has always been prompt and avocados arrived in excellent condition. Ben's customer service is outstanding! We had 1 mishap (no fault of Ben's) where I was set to receive the avocados on Friday, then that morning fedex mistakenly shipped them to TX (I live in CA) and they lost the box. They found the box and shipped them to me, And when they arrived after an extra week of delay the avocados looked like a grenade went off. They were all destroyed. I contacted Ben and he immediately shipped out a new box which arrived fast and avocados were perfect. I'm extremely grateful that Ben has excellent products and outstanding customer service.

Great company, honest and reliable

The shipping may seem expensive but it's well worth it. You get really great avocados, of many different types. They are much better than what you get at a store.

As a former Californian now living in the Midwest, I am so grateful for the avocados available by mail from my home state. Hands down they are an improvement over the imported avocados from Mexico that are in the stores here.

I have placed a number of tangerine and Valencia orange orders in the past couple of years and have shared them with my grandson, my doctor, and my chiropractor. They have all loved them. My fav is the tangerines. I've also made fresh squeezed OJ from the Valencias... Farmer Ben has always been helpful and answers my questions quickly. I'm about to introduce my chiropractor to the avos... If I was gonna have an addiction... Farmer Ben's avos would be the reason! Ain't nuttin' like those avos. They are deadly delicious plain, on toast, in salads and every which way possible!

Delicious avocados- some varieties I had never even heard of or seen in any store. Fun to try different varieties . Have ordered numerous times-and sent as gifts. Cant say enough about the customer service- great Once my order went on a circuitous route during a heat wave - and some of the avocados got too soft. I reached out to Farmer Ben- he sent new avocados even though it was not his “fault”. Highly recommend.
