This limited supply box features the exotic Mexicola Avocados, a variety known for its edible skin. This fruit is a unique seasonal treat.
As one of the most Rare Avocados available, the Mexicola has a thin, purple skin. It is truly delicious and hard to find elsewhere.
With a slight hint of anise, this fruit offers a creamy, delicate flesh. It is deep green and yellow near the seed for a beautiful look.
The smooth, rich, nutty flavor is perfect for your charcuterie board. Slice them thinly with salt, pepper, and olive oil for a great snack.
Reed Avocados are also a warm weather favorite. They are extra-large, fleshy, and very easy to peel for any chef.
Reeds have firm, nutty tasting flesh. Slice, cube, or mash them for any culinary creation your imagination comes up with in the kitchen.
Some enthusiasts even use the sturdy skin as a bowl! They are a versatile addition to any gourmet kitchen or your favorite family recipe.

We now know what the Gods ate when they celebrated atop Mt. Olympus.
Bothare delicious. I love the fact the Mexicali don’t actually need peeling
Mexicolas were fascinating. I ate the whole fruit and skin, delicious.
The Haas lasted longer. Not sure if the Mexicolas arrived riper or if the
Haas simply have a longer keeping time. Haas are superb. And huge!
My idea(l) of an avocado
California Avocados Direct has the most delicious fresh produce. I love to order from them. The Mexicola were a bit delicate and it took me a bit to figure out how to get them out of the peel but the fruit was incredible. Very well worth it.
The Haas were my favorite of the two varieties. The Mexicola was very good but more difficult to peel. In all honesty, I have never received a bad avocado from here.
Hass was wonderful favor and easy to peel, Mexicola delicious; however, not easy to peel.
Fantastic flavor. This batch ripened extremely fast. Enjoy
Delicious as always. I enjoyed eating the skin of the Mexicola.
