We like getting our monthly boxes. I would not call these avocados "large". I would call them solid "mediums". Arriving very unripe is not an issue as they all end up ripening as we use them (sometimes just). Figuring on eating any of them straight away, however, would definitely not work.
The avocados are better than anything I can purchase locally. They arrive rock-hard but start ripening within a week. At that point we store many of them in the refrigerator and pull them out as needed. I estimate that we consume them over a two-week period and then wait for the next monthly shipment to arrive. I will be getting this subscription again.

I live at 9,000 ft in Colorado and getting 12 perfect avocados in January is such a treat. Every “alligator pear” at our local grocery store had been poked and prodded I have to buy three to get one good one. However my Avocado direct order has a dozen perfect Avo’s with no bruises and are perfect every month. Thank You!!!

I've been getting the monthly avocados for about 17 months, and I really do love them. This month we've had 3 that have been very badly bruised, with parts of them being inedible. I'm sure that this is the exception to an otherwise great subscription.
Everything was great except that all 12 avocados were ripe. Half and half would have been much better . It may not be doable. So I will order as needed. I live alone and 12 ripe at the same time is way too much. But they are delicious.
