Twenty-four (12) large California Gem Avocados. Handpicked and hand-packed to ensure the highest quality possible. Double boxed and packaged in a fine wood excelsior padding. A wonderful box of healthy and flavorful California Avocados.

About the taste - Gem avocados were developed in the 1980s at the University of California, Riverside. Gems are a little fatter and oblong than Hass and have a rich buttery texture and nutty flavor with thick pebbly skin. Easy to remove or great for using the Avocado as a bowl for presentation.

Ideal for recipes ranging from the beloved avocado toast to exotic entrées, magnificent main dishes, and the most exquisite of creamy desserts.

All avocados are picked to order and delivered fresh from the farm. Once arriving at their destination, they will ripen when stored between 60-70 degrees. Ripe avocados can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
